Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons on AMC's time-travel drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in Mad Men that won Christina Hendricks 6 Emmy Awards for her performance in the Best Supporting Actress category. The actress has earned recognition throughout her career of two decades for her work in law thriller Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star.
