Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is a mixed-race kid of Manny James, and Patty James. He has a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. After graduating of Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained the Bachelor's degree in Economics. James became famous after he became a Reality Star on The Bachelorette. James was picked in the year 2020 as the bachelor of the year for The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's debut African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James was a perfect fit for the role because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krkconnell was selected to play his partner during the entire season. In the 30th season (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, James competed alongside the famous dancer Arnold. James as well as Arnold finished 12th.
