Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already been offered a variety of television roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring female stars. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects through the years. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Her other roles include being juror at each of the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
